I would recommend this site to anyone who enjoys camping. It is always a difficult decision to make in respect of cutting the grass before a busy weekend because campers prefer shorter grass than longer and of course it is inevitable that when surrounded by acres of beautiful, lush green grass rather than concrete or gravel, that some will get dragged into the toilets on people's feet. Absolutely brilliant, great facilities and very clean! On the second night the weather changed dramatically and the wind made it impossible to camp another night. The place is packed. It welcomes dogs which is great, but the space you can actually take the dogs into is just far to small. Occasionally, trees have to be pruned and this is done sympathetically in the winter, whilst the trees are dormant, to minimise the risk of damaging them. Last weekend was the busiest on record for us and unfortunately at times, the showers struggled to keep up with demand but we just about made it ! The toilets are okay albeit full of grass and the weather has been wet and the grass recently mowed. even when my partner leaves the campsite in the early hours when he has to go to work the night security always see me and ask if me and my daughter are okay as we're not great in the dark lol the park is spotless and has everything for everyone. the staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you.
